Hide and Seek Trailer Video Analysis - Soundtrack and Representation
Link to my video analysis of Hide and Seek Horror Trailer:
As part of my research, I also went into further detail on my analysis of the Soundtrack and Representation in the Horror Trailer: Hide and Seek. I analysed the trailer in the form of a video with audio description. I also chose to analyse this particular horror trailer, because it had a particular influence on our horror plot and felt that the trailer would provide me with good inspiration for when I come to create my own horror trailer.

General Analysis of Horror Trailers
As part of my research, I analysed two horror trailers, to find out how the soundtrack, camera work, editing and mise-en-scene have been used effectively to convey the genre, the plot, the violence, the characters and the representation of good and evil.
The Hide and Seek horror film was a main influence for our own horror film plot and I chose to analyse this film trailer for inspiration for our own horror trailer.

Audience Feedback on Initital Horror Film Plot Idea Survey
After thinking up a potential horror film plot, we decided to ask members of our target audience (of both genders) what they thought of our plot, what they look for in a horror film, their favourite horror film etc. From their feedback, we can determine whether any improvements need to be made to our plot or characters that will appeal to our target audience and we can create a horror film that they will want to go and see.We created our survey on SurveyMonkey.
